Evening Prayers are held at the “sunset point” and is a unique ceremony which takes place every evening at sunset time. All students clad in white kurta pyjama sit in silence for a minute and a half, in an amphitheater facing the sunset hill or at “sunset point” or at “chattri”. In a silence they watch the sun go down. The whole concept is to give child a minute or two to be with himself, with nature and reflect upon himself or meditate. Occasionally there is a faculty member who talks about anything related to school life or a thought of the day or play some live music.
